Auckland & District repeats as New Zealand Champions

Masterton, New Zealand – March 13, 2010 – Auckland & District were the repeat winners of the New Zealand Pipe Band Championship, besting second-place Manawatu Scottish in a four-band competition. Auckland won both the MSR and Medley events. Aukland were rated first by judges across the events in piping, drumming, bass section and ensemble to give the band a seven-point margin of victory.
