Field Marshal Montgomery starts season with a bang at Bangor

Bangor, Northern Ireland – May 12, 2018 – The 2018 Northern Ireland outdoor pipe band competition season began under fine sunny weather at Castle Park, where Field Marshal Montgomery won the Grade 1 contest with straight firsts against three other bands, including Scotland’s Vale of Atholl and Ireland’s St. Laurence O’Toole. The event is the Ards & North Down Championships.
