Liddell spins wheel to victory

Danderhall, Scotland – January 10, 2009 – Stuart Liddell of Inveraray, Scotland, was the winner of the third annual Pipe-Majors’ Wheel of Fortune Competition, an event sponsored by the City of Edinburgh Pipe Band. The contest requires competitors to craft an impromptu medley based on spinning a wheel for elements that they must include. Competitors also had to play more traditional content and tell a joke or story to the audience.

 

The contest was well attended and described as “fantastic entertainment” by one spectator.
