McInnes and Lyons enjoy R.U. Brown success in Adelaide
Adelaide, Australia – May 1, 2010 – The annual solo piping competitions organized by the R.U. Brown Society of South Australia saw a full slate of events, and in the end Alistair McInnes took home the gold medal for piobaireachd and Ian Lyons captured the top prize for the Open MSR. The competitions were held in great weather at the Scotch College in Adelaide.

This was a truly deserving win by Alastair McInnes a true piping gentleman. Alastair also gave a great recital the night before and his daughter won the bronze medal! Ian Lyons won the MSR, but was also placed in the HJ and a third in the Gold Medal. A great effort! Another brilliant year, I thouroughly enjoyed every minute of it.
