Midgley rules Dunrobin Castle

Golspie, Scotland – September 11, 2010 – Derek Midgley of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, was the overall senior champion of the annual Dunrobin Castle solo piping competition, an event reserved for those assigned to the Competing Pipers’ Association’s B- and C-Grade categories. Midgley won the Gledfield Estate Crystal Trophy. The castle is about an hour north of Inverness, very near to a few excellent James Braid golf courses at Golspie and Brora.
