The Saskatchewan Highland Gathering and Celtic Festival features full solo, pipe band, Highland dancing and Scottish heavy athletics over two days. The event starts with the Prairie Invitational Solo Piping on Friday night. THE MUDMEN are featured in the Beer Tent at the Saturday night ceilidh, and there are two full days of Celtic entertainment, and children's activities, a photo booth, sheep, archery and Saturday the Regina Farmers' Market takes place at the gates of the Games.
The new venue—downtown in Victoria Park—is 100% licensed, so you can wander freely and enjoy your beverage anywhere on site. As well, there are many great downtown pubs, restaurants and hotels within easy access of the park.

The RCMP E. Division Pipe Band (British Columbia) is holding a scotch tasting event at the new E. Division headquarters in Surrey, BC on Saturday, November 23 to help raise funds for a new ceremonial mace. This event at the NCO mess is open to everyone. $10 entrance, includes first drink and appies.

Originally held in Brest, the InterCeltic Festival now takes place in Lorient and remains the key event for Celtic musicians and artists. Every year, 4,500 artists and bands from Scotland, Ireland,Wales, the Isle of Man, Cornwall, Cornouailles, Asturias, Galicia and Brittany come to Lorient to take part in this exciting festival.
The programme includes a range of Celtic music styles - traditional, classical, folk, jazz, rock... This lively event also features dancers, painters, sculptors, writers, film directors and lecturers who will be giving visitors a glimpse of their skills at various venues all over town, providing the 500,000 festival-goers with quality entertainment.

The 2014 Atlantic Canada Piobaireachd Challenge is hosted by the College of Piping and Celtic Performing Arts of Canada in Summerside, PE. The contest will take place on April 26th and a workshop will be offered the following day on April 27th. The contest is open to competitors in Grade 5 through to Professional. Jack Taylor will be this year's judge and will host the workshop. The workshop is open to everyone.
