To Celebrate our 25th Anniversary we have brought over two World Champions to adjudicate the event, Steven McWhirter and Callum Beaumont. They will be joining Bob Worrall and Ken Eller to make up our Afternoon Adjudication Panel for the band contest.

This year for the Winnipeg Scottish Festival we have 12 bands (In 4 Different Grades) and 120 Soloists (In every Grade) making this years festival the biggest ever.

There will be a recital on the Saturday Night featuring Steven McWhirter and Callum Beaumont, and Workshops Sunday Morning With Ken Eller, Bob Worrall, Callum Beaumont and Steven McWhirter.

The Prairie Piping Invitational features top professional pipers playing entertaining tunes in a free-for-all event that always provides a great night of piping. The 2018 adjudicator is Dr. Terry Lee, and we have some exciting contestants lined up, with a couple still to be named. Visit the website to see the complete lineup.

Pipers play an 8-minute medley of their own choice that must include the urlar of a piobaireachd and at least one tune composed by a Canadian. As well as being placed by the adjudicators, there is an audience ballot for a "majority wins" selection of "Audience Favourite."

As well as the usual cash bar service available, this year's event features a "pizza and beer" price for those who'd like dinner and a show! All tickets are available on the website.

The Saskatchewan Highland Gathering and Celtic Festival is a two-day event that features solo piping and drumming, pipe bands, Highland dancing, Scottish athletics and a full feast of Highland games fun. Pipe bands from Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba converge to make one of the most interesting and diverse contests of the season.
