The Boney Music Memorial Invitational is an annual piping competition and recital in memory of the late Andrew Bonar to benefit brain cancer research via the BC Cancer Foundation. Seaforth Armoury, 1650 Burrard Street, Vancouver. Doors open 6:30 pm with performances at 7 pm. Please note that hats are not permitted to be worn in the Seaforth messes.

2019 marks a new chapter for WSF, as we're pleased to announce we're moving the festival to the downtown campus at the University of Winnipeg! Band events will take place in the beautiful and acoustically friendly Eckhardt Gramatte Hall with solo events taking place in adjacent classrooms and lecture halls.

The downtown location provides an excellent landscape in terms of accommodations and amenities. The Holiday Inn & Suites is steps away from the University of Winnipeg and we're in the process of arranging a group rate for traveling bands.

There will be more information to follow regarding events, accommodations, adjudicators, and social activities, but we wanted to pass along these details regarding the date and location of the event as soon as we were able to.
