78th Highlanders on top both days at Antigonish
Antigonish, Nova Scotia – July 19-20, 2008 – The 78th Highlanders (Halifax Citadel) were the only Grade 1 band competing at the 145th annual Antigonish Highland Games, the Atlantic Canada Pipe Band Championships. The band won against two Grade 2 bands that played up. In the Professional Solo Piping, Bruce Gandy of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, was the overall winner. Weather ranged from sunshine to rain to extreme heat.
