All-star line-up of drummers gives music to charity

A bevy of some of the world’s greatest pipe band snare drummers will devote their time and music to charity on February 24 in Cookstown, Northern Ireland.

Beginning at 6 p.m., nine drummers, include 16-time World Solo Drumming Champion Jim Kilpatrick and 2006 World Solo Champion Stephen McWhirter, will perform throughout the night with all proceeds from the £10 tickets going to the Kilronan Special Needs School in Magherafelt, Northern Ireland.

  • Stephen McWhirter, Simon Fraser University
  • Brendan Morgan, Ballycoan
  • Barry Wilson, ScottishPower
