Another Piping Live! contest for pipes|drums readers!
Hot on the heels of our successful-but-really-challenging contest to win two tickets to the Field Marshal Montgomery contest, pipes|drums has teamed up with Piping Live! Glasgow International Piping Festival to offer one lucky reader and a friend the chance to enjoy the “After World’s Shindig” on Saturday, August 11, at the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow.
The lucky winner will also be treated to dinner for two at the National Piping Centre’s acclaimed restaurant.
According to the organizers, the After World’s Shindig is going to be the biggest event in town with amazing acts lined up to keep the post-World’s party going on in to the night, with the Peatbog Faeries, Daimh, Alasdair Fraser and Natalie Haas, not mention Alasdair Gillies providing solo piping like only he can.
Once the concert has finished then the dancing will begin, and the group Skerryvore is lined up to keep the party going.
