Bevan has big day at BC Pipers 72nd Annual Gathering

Vancouver, British Columbia – April 9-10, 2004 – The 72nd annual BC Pipers Association Annual Gathering saw a strong turn out by competitors, and Alan Bevan of Abbotsford, British Columbia, had the most successful day in the professional solo piping events, winning two first prizes, including the MacCrimmon Cairn for Piobaireachd.

Alex Gandy of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, gained the aggregate award in amateur solo piping, winning all the light music events in Grade 1.
