Blazing Sunshine at Sarnia

Sarnia, Ontario – August 17, 2002 – The final Pipers & Pipe Band Society of Ontario Champion Supreme event was held on the shores of the St. Clair in 34 degree heat, although a breeze and some clouds kept things cooler. Michael Grey, Dundas, Ontario, continued his hot season with three firsts and a second in the professional solo piping. Seven played in the category.

Post-World’s, no Grade 1 bands attended, and Hamilton Police won Grade 2 over 400 Squadron.
