British Pipe Band Champions: Strathclyde Police

Pitlochry, Scotland – June 21, 2003 – The Strathclyde Police Pipe Band won the British Pipe Band Championship here today against a field of 14 other Grade 1 bands, marking the famous band’s firts major championship victory for many years.

Weather was cloudy or drizzly most of the day.

Grade 2 was won by Bleary of Northern Ireland, with 18 bands competing in the grade.
