Field Marshal takes Banbridge on ensemble preference

Banbridge, Northern Ireland – May 17, 2008 – Field Marshal Montgomery won the Grade 1 event at Banbridge, a new contest organized by the Northern Ireland branch of the RSPBA after the demise of the Malahide Festival competitions earlier in the year. The reigning World Championships beat St. Laurence O’Toole and that band’s two firsts in piping on an ensemble tie-breaker.
