Gordon Walker Sweeps Mod
Benbecula, Scotland – October 13, 2001 – Gordon Walker of Glasgow won both events here today at the Nastional Mod Piping Competitions, an annual event held in conjunction with the international Gaelic arts festival.
Only eight pipers competed in the piobaireachd event and 11 in the light music.
The contests were held at the Lionacleit School and both events were judged by Iain Morrison and Ronald Lawrie.
