Kilpatrick World’s Roadshow to launch new HTS 800

The new Premier HTS 800 will be launched officially during Jim Kilpatrick’s “World’s Roadshow” in Glasgow starting August 10th and lasting the week leading up the World Pipe Band Championships on August 16th.

According to Kilpatrick, The much anticipated snare drum features a new design for top and bottom snare mechanisms, re-profiled bearing edges on the top and bottom hoops, re-designed tension bolts and new die cast aluminum polished hoops with blasted chrome down tubes.

The new drum weighs the same as the existing Premier HTS 700, he says.

The road show will set up shop at the Lord Todd Bar at the University of Glasgow for the week where Kilpatrick will also be showing new Remo Powermax bass and tenor heads and the new Jim Kilpatrick Snare Drum Stand.

Kilpatrick added that the new Spirit of Scotland Pipe Band will take delivery of the drums in the coming week and a set of HTS 800 snares at the World’s, in adition to Field Marshal Montgomery, St. Laurence O’Toole and Kilpatrick’s own band, House of Edgar-Shotts & Dykehead.
