Kincardine Won By 78th Frasers

Kincardine, Ontario -July 6, 2002 – The fourth annual Kincardine Highland Games were held again on the shores of Lake Huron, with beautiful weather assisting a contest that is rapidly gaining a reputation for excellent facilities and venue.

Only two bands, the 78th Fraser Highlanders and Peel Regional Police, competed in Grade 1, with the 78th winning. Grade 2 was won by the Windsor Police, thus continuing the band’s undefeated streak in 2002.

The Professional Solo Piping was poorly attended, with only three playing. Michael Grey, Dundas, Ontario, won all four events.
