MacColl wins Culloden ceol mor battle
Drumossie, Scotland – April 14, 2007 – Angus MacColl of Benderloch, Scotland, was the winner of the Culloden Ceol Mor invitational solo piping competition, held with the National Trust for Scotland to commemorate the anniversary of Battle of Culloden near Inverness.
MacColl played “MacDonald of Kinlochmoidart’s Lament No.1.”
Other competitors were Willie McCallum, Bearsden, Scotland; Euan MacCrimmon, Inverness, Scotland; and Dr. Angus MacDonald, Portree, Skye, Scotland.
