Mann Resigns as ANAPBA Chair

The Chairman of the Alliance of North American Pipe Bands (ANAPBA), Jeffrey Mann, has announced his resignation effective at the conclusion of the organization’s summit in Toronto January 11-13.

Mann cited the time constraints of a professional opportunity at the University of Utah’s Health Sciences Center as the reason for his leaving the post.

“I am . . . confident that my replacement will perform the role with due credibility and support from everyone,” Mann said. “It is because of this confidence that I feel secure and happy in knowing that as I venture into my future prospects that the ANAPBA is in good and capable hands.”

New officers will be selected at the Toronto summit meeting.
