McCallum and Walker Dominate at Highlands & Islands

Oban, Scotland – May 4-5, 2001 – The top prizes at the piping competitions at the annual Highlands & Islands Music Festival were shared between Gordon Walker of Glasgow, Scotland, and Willie McCallum of Bearsden Scotland here.

The piobaireachd event was held at Lochnell Castle on May 4, while the light music events were at the Argyllshire Gathering Hall on May 5.
