Meunier sweeps Lorient to win MacCrimmon Trophy
Lorient, Brittany – August 5, 2007 – Alexis Meunier of Brittany (pictured) won all three events – Scottish, Irish and Breton – to take home his second MacCrimmon Trophy at the Festival Inter-Celtique in the coastal Breton city of Lorient.
The event calls for pipers to play a March, Strathspey & Reel in the Scottish section, and a selection of Breton and Irish music in the other two. Meunier last won the event in 2005.
