Morrison Makes Big Return at Montrose

Montrose, Scotland – August 5, 2001 – Gold Medallist Fred Morrison of Glasgow made a strong return to solo piping by winning both the March and thge Strathspey & Reel at the Montrose Highland Games. 1999 Inverness Gold Medallist Stuart Shedden, also of Glasgow, won the Open Piobaireachd event. About 30 pipers in total played at the games.
