PPBSO AGM and Highland Ball November 9

The Pipers & Pipe Band Society of Ontario (PPBSO) will hold its annual general meeting and Highland Ball in St. Catharines, Ontario, on Saturday, November 9th, at the Quality Hotel Parkway Convention Centre, 327 Ontario Street.

The organization’s AGM begins at 11:00 a.m., with reports from various committees, submitted motions for rule and policy changes, and election of Parent Body officers. Some 31 motions are being tabled after an approval process through the PPBSO’s various branches.

The PPBSO’s Highland Ball begins at 7:00 p.m. at the same venue, and is organized by the Society’s Niagara-Hamilton Branch. At the event, Champion Supreme Award Winners will be fetted, and winning bands will perform.
