Piping Live! adds bevvy of piping

Glasgow’s Piping Live! Festival has announced that five popular bars in Glasgow will join in the fun from August 8 to 14 offering free live sessions pipers and folk musicians from 6 p.m. till 10 p.m.

Bar Brel, the Ubiquitous Chip, the Park Bar, the Goat and Waxy O’Connor’s will feature performances from the Hamish Napier Duo Simon McKerrell and Tom Richardson, Stuart Cassells, Skeryvore, Breabach, and Canntaireachd sessions.

The new bar events join and a packed program that already includes a film festival, concerts, open air activity, a festival club, ceilidhs and recitals.
