Round the Scottish Games with P&D Online

July is the most active month for solo piping in Scotland, and we bring you results from a variety of the Highland games.

Unlike North America, where bands and soloists generally compete at the same events, “Highland games” in Scotland generally don’t have a band competition. The solo piping contests are often the marquis events, and the only pipe band will be one hired to perform at certain times during the day.
