Russell, MacPhee in Form at Aboyne Games
Aboyne, Scotland
August 2, 2003
Donald MacPhee of Alexandria and Allan Russell, Kelty, enjoyed solid days at the Aboyne Highland Games near Aberdeen, just around the corner from the Balmoral estate. Conditions for pipers were excellent, with raised platforms, each with sprigs of heather at the corners. The Marquis of Huntley attended, but, according to reports, did not do the Highland fling.
