Scottish Champions: Field-Marshal Montgomery

Dumbarton, Scotland – May 21, 2005 – Field Marshal Montgomery won the Scottish Pipe Band Championship here today against a field of 13 other Grade 1 bands. Weather was sunny, with a high temperature of about 15 degrees.

Ravara, Grade 1 in 2004, won the Grade 2 contest, while Drambuie-Kirkliston, with its first-on draw, ended up second. The Grampian Police, which was also downgraded after the 2004 season, failed to make the Grade 2 list.
