Updated: Brown wins Dunvegan Medal; McKerrell: Clasp
Portree, Skye – August 7-8, 2007 – Glenn Brown of Milton, Ontario, (pictured) won the Dunvegan Medal for Piobaireachd at the Portree Games at the Skye Gathering Hall. Simon McKerrell of Glasgow gained the Clasp, in the contest reserved for previous winners of the Dunvegan Medal.
In the piobaireachd events, competitors must submit tunes from a list of MacCrimmon-related tunes set by the games committee.
