Walker, Armstrong Solid at Cowal Solo Events

Dunoon, Scotland – August 29, 2003 – The traditional solo piping events at the Coawl Gathering were held above the games field with a good entry from B and C Grade pipers espcially. Twelve played in the A Grade events, while some 35 turned out for the B and C contests. Gordon Walker of Kilmarnock, Scotland, and Chris Armstrong of Bathgate, Scotland, took the big awards.
