Boderiou picks up Glenisla overall trophy

Glenisla, Scotland – August 17, 2018 – While many were off fighting poor weather at the Grade 1 Qualifier for the World Pipe Band Championship at Glasgow Green, a small number of solo pipers gatherered at Glenisla in dry and warm conditions, where Xavier Boderiou of Brittany won the overall trophy.

Judges for all events were Murray Henderson, Patricia Henderson and “Major Gibb,” who reportedly donates his farm as a venue for the event and is thus allowed to judge some of the world’s best pipers.
