Chisholm, Armstrong, Walker on top at Cowal

Dunoon, Scotland – August 29, 2008 – There was a different first-prize winner in each of the A-Grade solo piping events at the Cowal Highland Gathering, traditionally held on the Friday before the pipe band championship. Gordon Walker of Galston, Scotland, emerged as the overall winner, winning the March and gaining high prizes in the Piobaireachd and Strathspey & Reel.
