Conn takes overall Professional Solos at Kamloops

Kamloops, British Columbia – July 14, 2018 – The annual Kamloops Highland Games, a few hours from the city of Vancouver, attracted a good entry, especially in the solo piping, where Gordon Conn of Calgary took the overall prize in the Professional grade 2ith two light music firsts. John Lee of Vancouver took the Piobaireachd. Simon Fraser University was the only band in the Grade 1 competition, there was no Grade 2 event, and the SFU organization fielded bands each of the three other grades, winning two of them.
