Duncan Johnstone contest commemorates late, great piper
Glasgow – March 21, 2009 – The annual Duncan Johnstone Memorial Solo Piping Competition was held again at the National Piping Centre, with pipers graded “B” and “C” by the Competing Pipers Association vying for prizes. With two seconds, John Mulhearn of Glasgow was the most consistent winner in the B-Grade events, while Ashleigh Bell of Muir of Ord, Scotland, won the B-Grade Piobaireachd and the C-Grade MSR.
