Gavin Walker on top at Markinch

Markinch, Scotland – June 7, 2009 – Gavin Walker of Stirling , Scotland, enjoyed a first and a second prize at the Markinch Highland Games, which decided again to hire two judges for its light music event who are not on the list of approved adjudicators on the Joint Committee for Judging or Competing Pipers Association’s lists. Twenty-four pipers competed in the cold temperature but with sunny intervals.
