Judges meet for annual spring PPBSO seminar

PPBSOlogoTwenty-four adjudicators accredited with the Pipers & Pipe Band Society of Ontario met in Milton, Ontario, on April 18th for the organization’s annual spring seminar, including three judges who were added to the roster in the fall.

Organized by the PPBSO’s Music Committee, the seminar comprised a full day of interactive sessions, beginning at 9 am and finishing around 3 pm at the Best Western Hotel. Several judges travelled further than 500 kilometres to make the seminar.

The day was managed by Music Committee members Trish Kirkwood and Glenna Mackay-Johnstone, who each put their professional skills as school teachers to work, using techniques to encourage collaboration and discussion.
