Prairie Piping Invitational goes to Andrea Boyd

Regina, Saskatchewan, May 18, 2018 – Andrea Boyd of Ottawa took home top honours as winner of the Prairie Piping Invitational, featuring six pipers from three provinces. The event is a free-style medley contest, and competitors must include the ground of a piobaireachd and at least one tune composed by a Canadian. The ticket for the event also doubles as a ballot for audience members to vote for the “Audience Favourite.”

The event is part of the Saskatchewan Highland Gathering and Celtic Festival, and is sponsored by The City of Regina Pipe Band and Reelpipes.com.
