Salute to Sir James MacDonald of the Isles

Not to be confused with the far more well-known “Lament for Sir James MacDonald of the Isles,” this salute is a fine tune that was apparently popular with pipers until the early 1900s. William Donaldson investigates this fine and now largely ignored piece of music.
