World’s Week 2015 – sights and sounds

Nearly five months have already flown by, and it feels like August was here just a two-parted jig ago. pipes|drums was on the scene throughout World’s Week, starting with the 2015 Piping Live! Glasgow International Festival of Piping, culminating with the World Pipe Band Championships at Glasgow Green.

Our antipodean friends are now enjoying their even warmer weather and contest season but, as the cold and dark of socks in the northern hemisphere, and pipers and drummers endure weeks of indoor practice, we bring you our exclusive video highlights of World’s Week 2015.

The bands, the soloists, the quartets, the enthusiasts . . . all of those who were there in Glasgow we hope will revisit warm memories, and those who missed it will enjoy a taste of the experience.
