2011 World’s Week Grade 1 practice schedules

We bring back our annual guide to finding the world’s best bands as they make final preparations for August 13th!

For the tenth straight year pipes|drums Magazine is pleased to provide readers with a guide to the schedules and locations of practices of Grade 1 bands competing for the World Pipe Band Championship, this year on August 13th in Glasgow.

All bands are listed, including those that have not yet responded with details. Their information will be added if or as it is provided, so please keep checking back over the days leading up to the World’s.

We have again included  Google Maps links to help you find exact locations.

Readers are advised that schedules may change, and that they should double-check before making travel plans. Bands are listed in alphabetical order.

Checking out a few practices could also help with your decision-making for pipes|drums Magazine’s fun Pick the Six contest!

We hope that you find this guide useful.
