Costa Mesa day 2: LA Scots for the sweep

A band takes cover from the rain while tuning for the second day of the Costa Mesa games.

Costa Mesa, California – May 26, 2019 – The LA Scots closed out a two-win weekend by taking the second day in Grade 2 of the annual Costa Mesa Highland Games in the town in southern Los Angeles. The day saw rare rain throughout the day, bands clamoring for cover to tune, with temperatures hovering around 60 degrees. John Lee won the overall in the Professional solo piping.
