Easton continues winning ways with wins in Wellington

Wellington, New Zealand – June 9, 2018 – Stuart Easton came up a double winner at the 67th annual Brown Cup MSR & Everest Memorial Piobaireachd competitionheld at the Royal New Zealand Police College, staged by the Wellington Pipers Club. The Palmsterston North, New Zealand-based piper has won four significant events in his home country and Australia over the last six weeks.

The weekend prior saw the Otago Piping & Dancing Association’s 107th annual solo piping competition held June 2-3 at Otago University, and Greg Wilson of Christchurch, New Zealand, had a rare perfect day for any piper anywhere, with four firsts in four events. Judges were Alistair Hanning, Ross Hanning and Marion Horsburgh.
