Whitehorse bolts PBA after suspensions

On June 30th the news broke that in response to Pipe Bands Australia suspending members of the Grade 1 City of Whitehorse, the band itself renounced its membership with the organization in an apparent attempt to nullify the bans. All stemming from comments allegedly made about PBA and RSPBA adjudicator Nat Russell on the band’s private Facebook page, the controversy would continue through the balance of the year. The story is still not concluded.
