The best way to snuff a dumpster fire is to give it no oxygen. Idiotic screeds on social media, personal attacks on blogs, fake Twitter accounts . . . throwing more material in the dumpster keeps it burning, so just quietly shut the lid, walk away and let it smolder and die. You’ll be better for it. And anyone who was disappointed when the @FakeBobWorrall thing on Twitter was taken down might want to have a wee word with themselves.
